feed from Arch 1391- Creating space with light

The feed I choose is a feed that Creating space with light, in this feed,
The sense of space is created using light. The number of people entering and leaving a room directly correlates to the floor area which is lit up. As more people enter the room the lit floor area increases. In my game environment I used this concept to have the light turn on when the alien approaches the object within 5 meters.
The strength of this pachube feed is, it is very visual, it relates the information about numbers of people in the space to the brightness of the space that lit by lighting. In this feed, the idea of how full the room is can be instantly understood or received by audiences from how bright the room is. Also the more people in the room the more lighting is required, which the idea of this feed conveys the idea of building room space lighting management, managed by sensors of artificial intelligence.

The Weakness of this feed is, it is not a live sensor data, which is a shame, the information cannot be obtained by one on a daily bases to analyse the information. The weakness also occurs in the concept of energy saving, how much lighting is too bright, what's the most surfficient lighting requirement to the space with numbers of people in the space that various constantly. Questions will be asked by one will be, do ten people needs the room to be brighter than when nine people in the room? Are there different brightness to the same numbers of people depending which time of the day it is?

The opportunities of this feed is, to provide the chance for real time sensor to manage the lighting in the room, or presents the reviewer with how bright the room is to notify the number of people is, whether it is large number of people or small number of people.

The threat of this feed is it can be over taken by another real sensor that is more energy efficient in light saving.

Installation of artificial lighting and rain reflect the outputs of the real world sensor from Pachube

My installation of purple colour lights and rain both reflects real world sensor from Pachube.
Purple colour light shows brightness in form when the day goes dark, it provide artificial lighting to the area in Pure War, according to the real world sensor feed, the day gets dark 6pm in summer time and gets bright at 6a.m., therefore the most efficient and necessary lighting is from sunset time till next morning when sun rises again. My flowgraph for the lighting is set to trigger when the day time goes to 6pm, and the trigger disables the light output by 6a.m. the next day.
Rain is something from the nature, it is a good contrast with artificial lighting or a sculpture, rain is something as a gift from nature, by making a rain, one has the sense of being God, which is the master of all creations on earth. Rain reflects the real world sensor information from Pachube, that the soil moisture comes to the lowest point and the temperature is the highest in the mid afternoon time between 2:30-4pm, therefore my design of rain fits the purpose of providing water to balance the moisture and cooling down temperature in the garden in afternoon times. In the rain flowgraph, the trigger enables the rain to start at 1pm and the disables the rain by 4pm.
